Heather Rohlmeier joined Elias Books in 2009 and is now a Partner with the firm. Her practice encompasses a broad range of oil and gas transactions with an emphasis on title examination, authoring numerous drilling, division order, and acquisition title opinions. Heather has represented clients in a wide variety of acquisitions and divestitures of oil and gas properties. Her expertise includes preparation and negotiation of industry contracts as well as due diligence support. Her practice has expanded beyond the energy industry into a variety of transactions relating to real property.

Heather’s practice has also expanded into the representation of both businesses and individuals in asset protection planning. She has experience advising and representing enterprises of all sizes regarding the structure, formation, and operation of various types of business entities. In addition, she has prepared comprehensive estate plans for families to help with the management and disposition of assets to minimize adverse effects of taxes, family disagreements, and potential lawsuits.

Heather has deep family roots in the oil and gas industry. She was born in the Texas Panhandle and at a young age moved to Mustang, Oklahoma as her family followed the activity of the oil patch. Heather graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2009. While in law school, she was actively involved in the Organization for the Advancement of Women in the Law.
