Mackenzie is an Associate Attorney at Elias Books. Mackenzie’s practice incorporates a range of real property and oil and gas issues, primarily focused on oil and gas title examination.
Mackenzie grew up in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, graduating from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2020. She earned her undergraduate degree in Economics and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in 2013, then graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science in Education in 2016. Before attending law school, Mackenzie served as a Teach for America Corps Member, teaching high school mathematics in Orangeburg, SC, and worked for the United States Senate thereafter.
